Padrón Black No. 99

Black No. 99 marks José O. Padrón’s ninety-ninth birthday anniversary in a broad, extended format. Its six-and-three-quarter-inch length and 60 ring gauge distinguish it from Black No. 97, the narrower torpedo listed alongside it in Padrón’s Special Releases directory. Padrón describes No. 99 as a limited-production, full-bodied cigar. Sun-grown Natural and Maduro wrapper versions are presented in ten-count boxes, with individually numbered banding. The release’s central story is its birthday commemoration. Its Black designation also separates it from the similarly numbered Family Reserve and 1926 Serie collections, each with its own tobacco and anniversary background.
