Padrón Dámaso No. 12
No. 12 is the shortest cigar in the Dámaso directory. Its five-inch length and 50 ring gauge put the standard expression into a compact format, with the round construction and Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper described by Padrón. Dámaso recalls the family ancestor who arrived in Cuba from the Canary Islands in the late nineteenth century. Padrón characterizes the standard collection as mild, also using mild-to-medium language in its broader description. No. 8 offers a nearby alternative in proportions: it adds half an inch while narrowing to 46 ring. Both belong to the standard group, alongside the longer No. 15 and No. 17.
