Ashologist™ — The Study of Cigars
Padrón Dámaso No. 17
No. 17 is the largest Dámaso format in both length and diameter, measuring seven inches by 54 ring. It belongs to the standard expression of the collection, which Padrón describes as mild. The cigar has the round construction and Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper identified for Dámaso. The collection honors Dámaso Padrón, the ancestor who came to Cuba from the Canary Islands in the late nineteenth century. No. 17 carries that family name into the longest of its six formats. Standard No. 15 is the useful shorter comparison, reducing the length by an inch and the ring gauge to 52.
