Ashologist™ — The Study of Cigars
Padrón 1926 Serie No. 48
No. 48 reaches the greatest diameter in the 1926 Serie directory at 60 ring. Its five-and-a-half-inch length puts that width into a compact, substantial body. Padrón lists Natural and Maduro versions in ten-count boxes. The cigar shares the collection’s five-year-aged tobacco and box-pressing tradition. It belongs to the line introduced in 2002 in tribute to José O. Padrón’s seventy-fifth birthday. Family Reserve No. 95 makes a useful comparison across Padrón’s anniversary families: it also reaches 60 ring, but is three quarters of an inch shorter and comes from the separate collection using ten-year-aged tobacco.
