Fuente Fuente OpusX Original Petite Lancero
Petite Lancero is the narrowest original OpusX in Fuente’s published collection. Its six-and-a-quarter-inch length and 39 ring gauge produce a long, slender proportion. At exactly the same length, PerfecXion X is nine ring-gauge points wider. The original OpusX expression uses Dominican tobacco for wrapper, binder and filler. Chateau de la Fuente is central to that story because its wrapper-growing work helped establish the all-Dominican cigar identity. Petite Lancero presents that family background in a substantially narrower format than the collection’s Robusto and Belicoso names. PerfecXion No. 5 is the closest comparison in diameter at 40 ring, but it is considerably shorter. Together, these two cigars show how the slender end of original OpusX includes both compact and extended proportions.
