Gordo: Format and Comparisons El Tigre Dominicano Gordo measures 6 × 60, the broadest of the four El Tigre formats. Toro is equally long with a 50 ring gauge. Robusto shortens that narrower format to five inches, while Corona Viva is the slim 5 3/4 × 46 alternative. Gordo retains the family’s soft box-pressed format and Ecuador Sumatra, H99 Hybrid binder and Dominican-forward filler identity. It is made in Estelí, Nicaragua. Maduro and Shade use the Gordito name for their own 6 × 60 Undercrown formats; El Tigre uses Gordo.
