Pappy Van Winkle Barrel Fermented Churchill
Churchill: Format and Comparisons The 7 × 48 Barrel Fermented Churchill is the longest and narrowest-ring format in its three-cigar family. Toro is an inch shorter and broader at 54 ring. Robusto is shorter again at 5 1/4 × 52. Kentucky fire-cured tobacco fermented in retired Pappy Van Winkle bourbon barrels provides this expression’s distinctive production identity. Tradition Churchill also measures 7 × 48, using a separately published Habano Oscuro and Dominican–Nicaraguan construction. The two Churchills offer equal dimensions across different expressions.
