Nica Rustica Shade Gordo
Gordo: Format and Comparisons Shade Gordo’s 5 × 66 dimensions are distinctive within Nica Rustica. It is an inch shorter and six ring-gauge points wider than the 6 × 60 Gordos in Broadleaf and Adobe. Within Shade, the six-inch Toro is longer but much narrower at 50 ring. This is the broadest format in the Shade trio, which uses Ecuador Connecticut Shade wrapper over Mexican binder and a three-country filler blend. Drew Estate classifies Shade as mellow. The unusual 66-ring specification is an identifying feature of this Gordo.
