Don Carlos No. 3 combines five and a half inches with a 44 ring gauge. It is longer and slightly wider than No. 4, while Robusto is shorter and substantially broader. The number identifies a particular format within the collection. Fuente’s family description honors Carlos Fuente Sr. and emphasizes African Cameroon wrapper together with selected aged tobacco. Some of that tobacco is described as aged for as long as ten years. The collection is associated with Tabacalera A. Fuente’s Dominican cigar making. No. 2 has a different length and a two-part 44/55 ring-gauge notation.
