Arturo Fuente Chateau Fuente Royal Salute
Royal Salute is the longest published Chateau Fuente format at seven and five eighths inches with a 54 ring gauge. Fuente lists Natural, Maduro and Sungrown wrapper designations. It is longer and broader than both seven-inch King T entries. The Chateau family’s documented presentation includes individual cedar sleeves finished with ribbons at the foot. Fuente places this sleeving after the aging of the cigars. Its account also explains the connection with the Dominican estate: the farm was named in the spirit of the cigar series. King B is much shorter at six inches but slightly wider at 55 ring. Double Chateau Fuente provides a six-and-three-quarter-inch, 50-ring comparison, locating Royal Salute at the extended end of the family.
